Description

You will develop and maintain embedded systems running on Linux, handling everything from kernel-level debugging to hardware integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and debug core system code using C and C++.
• Configure and operate embedded Linux distributions such as Yocto or Buildroot.
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware-based ethernet packet processors, including VLANs, filtering engines, and TCAMs.
• Apply knowledge of network switching ASICs to drive system integration.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Working knowledge of the Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux build systems (Yocto or Buildroot).
• Understanding of Ethernet, IP, and higher-layer networking concepts.
• Experience with hardware-based ethernet packet processors.
• Deep familiarity with network switching ASICs (Broadcom, Marvell, or Microchip).

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals for low-level debugging.
