Description

You will develop test automation solutions and oversee software verification strategies for cardiac rhythm management systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop test automation solutions using C++ and Python to optimize test coverage.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to create maintainable test solutions and establish a community of practice.
• Identify product defects by analyzing system behavior, architecture, and software requirements.
• Coordinate software release activities and manage all verification deliverables for regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to influence software design and mentor junior test engineers.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of software verification experience within a regulated industry.
• Strong programming proficiency in C++ and Python for software component testing.
• Proven experience implementing test automation for complex electromechanical devices.
• Experience navigating design controls and regulatory guidance including IEC-62304 and FDA medical product development.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to perform both automated and manual software testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading automation frameworks, developing mocks, and implementing test tools.
• Proficiency with test case management tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, or JAMA.
• Knowledge of top-down test planning and software requirement verification protocols.
