Description

You will develop embedded systems firmware and interact with low-level networking hardware.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain embedded software components using C and C++.
• Integrate and debug with Linux kernel and hardware drivers.
• Configure and work with embedded Linux distributions (e.g., Yocto or Buildroot).
• Analyze and implement hardware-based packet processing features (VLANS, Filtering engines, TCAMs).

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• Expert proficiency in C and C++.
• Deep familiarity with network switching ASICs (Broadcom Marvell or Microchip preferred).
• Strong understanding of Linux kernel and drivers.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux distributions (Yocto or Buildroot).
• Familiarity with Ethernet, IP, and higher-level networking concepts.
• Understanding of VLANs and hardware packet processors.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals for debugging.
