Description

Design, develop, and debug embedded system software with a focus on display systems and device drivers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system software and drivers for embedded devices, emphasizing display functionality.
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
• Integrate and validate new product designs while interfacing with hardware development teams.
• Support software QA, optimize I/O performance, and provide post-production support.
• Review code and designs, and assess third-party or open-source software.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an embedded software engineer.
• Strong programming proficiency in C and C++.
• Hands-on development and troubleshooting experience on embedded targets.
• Experience with device drivers and the Android platform.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets.
• Proficiency with software development methodologies, configuration management, and defect tracking tools.
• Strong technical documentation and writing skills.
• Experience with peer review processes and QA support.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with display software.
