Description

You will design, implement, and deploy software systems for manufacturing and testing in-house communication hardware. You own the full development lifecycle from planning to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level testing automation scripts and management software for hardware manufacturing.
• Collaborate with design, test, and process teams to implement necessary software and hardware.
• Write requirements and interface with software teams to deliver automated manufacturing packages.
• Influence system test design and calibration by selecting appropriate technology, data sources, and algorithms.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Python programming.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging with hardware.
• Experience working with embedded boards and PCBs.
• Ability to work independently in a physical lab environment.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and providing updates to leadership.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing safety-critical or autonomous systems for space applications.
• Experience developing test equipment and instrumentation software.
• Working knowledge of National Instruments TestStand, LabView, Matlab, and Linux environments.
