Description

You will design, develop, and implement firmware for network equipment. You will own the integration of firmware with hardware components, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and memory usage.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for routers and switches.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components.
• Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues to ensure stability.
• Optimize firmware performance and memory usage.
• Document firmware specifications and design processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded C for firmware development.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols and networking concepts (switching, routing).
• Hands-on experience working with routers, switches, and network equipment.
• Familiarity with microcontroller programming and device driver development.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, preferably FreeRTOS.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C++ and scripting languages like Python.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams.
