Description

You will design and develop low-level embedded software for ARM and Intel architectures, leading technical activities for a small engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day technical activities for a small team of engineers.
• Develop device drivers and low-level embedded software using object-oriented techniques.
• Implement software across bare metal, embedded RTOS, Linux, and embedded Hypervisors.
• Utilize hardware tools to read traces, use oscilloscopes, and review board schematics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ within embedded environments.
• Experience with ARM and Intel architectures, including respective compilers and toolchains.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols: SPI, UART, I2C, Ethernet, USB, or PCI Express.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
• Degree or advanced coursework in software engineering, embedded systems, operating systems, or computer architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing software to meet safety and security standards like IEC 61508 or IEC 62443.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
