Description

You will design and implement firmware architecture for wireless applications and ORAN radio products. You will own the development of system software, including bootloaders, drivers, kernels, and system services, while applying embedded security principles to harden the OS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware code for wireless applications and ORAN radio products.
• Develop system software including bootloaders, drivers, kernels, and system services.
• Implement secure boot, firmware integrity, OTA updates, and hardware-backed device attestation.
• Integrate security protocols such as IEEE 802.1X, MACSec, and PKI-based authentication within telecom environments.
• Apply embedded system security principles, including security by design and OS hardening.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware or software architecture and implementation.
• Proficiency in embedded software development using C.
• Strong experience in object-oriented design and development using C++.
• Experience with Linux kernel software, Embedded Linux, and RTOS.
• Hands-on development with U-Boot, kernel customization, Linux Device Tree, and file system operations.
• Knowledge of embedded security, secure boot, and OTA update mechanisms.
• Experience with security protocols like IEEE 802.1X, MACSec, and PKI.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with O-RAN WG11 security specifications, including cryptography, key management, and secure access.
