Description

Design and implement firmware for embedded targets and hardware interfaces. You will develop C and C++ code for 8 to 32-bit embedded targets including ARM, ARM Cortex, ADI DSP, TI OMAP, TI SM470, and ST Micro SOC devices.

Responsibilities

• Implement serial communication protocols including RS232, RS485, ModBus, I2C, SPI, and CAN bus.
• Manage digital peripheral interfaces for ADC, DAC, external memory, Ethernet controllers, and USB.
• Perform hardware board bring-up and debugging using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and function generators.
• Develop data acquisition, sensor interfaces, and process control logic.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant firmware development experience.
• Expertise in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with ARM, ARM Cortex, ADI DSP, TI OMAP, TI SM470, and ST Micro SOC architectures.
• Hands-on experience with RS232, RS485, ModBus, I2C, SPI, and CAN bus protocols.
• Proficiency in interfacing with CPLD and FPGA.
• Experience with hardware debugging using lab equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience developing PC programs or test systems using Labview or Visual Studio.
