Description

Develop and debug firmware for embedded targets ranging from 8 to 32-bit architectures.

Responsibilities

• Write C and C++ code for ARM Cortex, ADI DSP, TI OMAP, TI SM470, and ST Micro SOC devices.
• Implement serial communication protocols including RS232, RS485, ModBus, I2C, SPI, and CAN bus.
• Manage hardware board bring-up and debug systems using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and function generators.
• Interface with digital peripherals such as ADC, DAC, external memory, Ethernet controllers, and USB.
• Develop PC-based test systems and data acquisition software for sensor interfacing and process control.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded C and C++ development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex and various 8 to 32-bit architectures.
• Deep understanding of digital peripheral interfaces and serial communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging and lab equipment.
• Familiarity with interfacing CPLD and FPGA.
• Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Ability to deliver technical presentations and reports.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Labview or Visual Studio for test system development.
• Firmware development experience within the oil and gas industry.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
