Description

Develop embedded platform software within a Linux-based environment, owning the release pipeline and making critical system-level design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Write event-driven and asynchronous applications primarily in C and C++.
• Develop software to communicate with and control devices via CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, and other interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications, features, and APIs.
• Participate in design and code reviews and mentor team members.
• Drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Expert-level C and C++ coding skills.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with CAN, UART, I2C, and SPI interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with GCC, Make, CMake, git, and gdb.
• Strong ability to break down complex problems and drive solutions.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern C++ (14 and 17), event loops, and asynchronous architectures.
• Knowledge of networking, network programming, and distributed systems debugging.
• Experience with custom Linux BSPs, board bring-up, device drivers, file systems, buildroot, yocto, or systemd.
