Description

You will build and maintain test infrastructure for embedded firmware, covering power management, boot loaders, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end test infrastructure and automation tools for host-side and low-level embedded systems.
• Define testing approaches and ensure comprehensive coverage across unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Review software, firmware, and hardware architectures to assess testability and integration risk.
• Debug issues across the hardware and software stack, identifying root causes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Support all development phases, from early architecture requirements and simulation to chip bring-up and FPGA debug.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software testing and related fields.
• Proficiency in Python programming for at least 2 years.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux OS.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, power supplies).
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with low-level operating systems, RTOS, U-Boot, or bare-metal programming.
• Knowledge of peripherals such as UART, SPI, CSI-2, I2C, GPIO, USB, and PCIe.
• Experience with FPGA and hardware evaluation boards, EDA design tools, or ISA simulators.
