Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Firmware Tester with strong experience in testing embedded systems and IoT-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Python-based automation frameworks, communication protocols, and RTOS/Linux environments.

Experience : 5+ Years

Joining : Immediate to 2 weeks max

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for embedded firmware and IoT devices
• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of firmware components
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python frameworks such as Pytest or Robot Framework
• Validate communication over IoT protocols like MQTT and REST APIs
• Test and troubleshoot hardware communication protocols including Modbus, BACnet, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with automation frameworks like Pytest or Robot Framework
• Hands-on experience with IoT protocols: MQTT and REST API
• Solid understanding of communication protocols: Modbus, BACnet, SPI, I2C, Ethernet
• Experience in testing embedded systems on RTOS or Linux OS
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of hardware-software interaction

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with embedded tools and debugging interfaces
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
