Description

Develop embedded firmware and hardware for power metering and industrial communication products. You will own the full lifecycle from architectural design and schematic creation to board-level testing and compliance certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware with a focus on architectural design, algorithm development, and code maintainability.
• Design schematics for power supplies, analog circuits, and embedded communication solutions using OrCAD or Concept HDL.
• Execute board-level and product-level testing for UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MODBUS-RTU, and MODBUS-TCP/IP protocols.
• Perform end-to-end hardware verification and validation, including EMI/EMC, safety, environmental, and mechanical testing.
• Manage compliance certification processes with agencies such as CE, FCC, NMi, UL, and CSA.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• 3+ years of experience working with Battery Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with power electronics converters including DC-DC, AC-DC, Flyback, Forward, isolated, and non-isolated topologies.
• Proficiency in schematic design using OrCAD or Concept HDL.
• Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC debugging and testing according to IEC61000 standards.
• Ability to use measurement instruments including multimeters, variable power supplies, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Knowledge of PCB layout guidelines for power electronics converters and DSP-based controllers.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile Product Development.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software modularity.
