Description

Design and architect complex, high-performance Linux system software for embedded environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into architectural frameworks and system designs for Linux-based applications.
• Lead the development of high-performance system software using C, C++, JavaScript, or NodeJS.
• Apply deep knowledge of Linux OS internals to optimize system performance and stability.
• Ensure robust data storage and retrieval using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Integrate multimedia, digital television, and web content streaming technologies into the product.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS.
• Strong exposure to C and C++ for system-level development.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating system internals and embedded Linux systems.
• Expert knowledge of software development, networking, and system design principles.
• Proficiency in frequently used data storage solutions, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture of complex, performant Linux system software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RDK Central software ecosystem, video encoding, streaming, and media delivery.
• Understanding of CA (Certifying Authority), DRM systems, and E2E video management technologies.
• Familiarity with broadcast TV, IPTV, OTT solutions, Nagra CA, Smart RCU integration (BLE), Systemd, and DBUS.
