Description

You build and maintain embedded Linux BSPs, owning the entire development lifecycle from kernel configuration through board bring-up.

Develop and debug Linux kernel device drivers for embedded systems. Configure U-boot and manage Linux start-up sequencing for cross-platform builds. Analyze and resolve kernel stability issues, including crash analysis, system locks, and abnormal resets. Read schematics, datasheets, and technical reference manuals to drive hardware integration. Prepare design specifications, test plans, and test reports based on requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Embedded Software development with strong C fundamentals.
• 3+ years working with the Linux kernel and its device drivers in relevant projects.
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux build systems (Yocto, Buildroot).
• Proficiency in using Host-Target toolchains for embedded platforms.
• Skilled in debugging using JTAG, Trace32, ICE, and ICD, plus oscilloscope and protocol analyzer use.
• Experience developing multi-threaded and multi-process applications, with knowledge of OS fundamentals.
• Familiarity with version control and tracking tools: Git, CVS, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SourceTree.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware documentation (schematics, datasheets).

Preferred Skills

• Proven problem-solving skills suitable for independent work in a high-pressure environment.
