Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and debugging of embedded Linux BSPs, kernel subsystems, and device drivers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C, focusing on the Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Configure and build embedded Linux systems, including U-Boot and kernel compilation.
• Debug kernel issues, including crashes, system locks, and abnormal resets.
• Analyze schematics, datasheets, and technical reference manuals for hardware integration.
• Prepare specifications, design documents, test plans, and test reports.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of Embedded Software development experience with strong C fundamentals.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Proficiency in OS fundamentals and developing multi-threaded/multi-process applications.
• Experience with Linux build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot.
• Familiarity with Host-Target toolchains for embedded platforms.
• Skilled in debugging using JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, ICD, and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of Git, CVS, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, and SourceTree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in system-level debugging or Linux Internals.
• Experience with RTOS like Zephyr or FreeRTOS.
