Description

Develop and maintain Linux kernel drivers and applications for embedded systems in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug Linux device drivers and kernel-mode programs.
• Implement audio subsystems, including ALSA SOC (ASOC) and I2S protocols.
• Manage kernel bug fixes and handle upstreaming processes.
• Design and implement IPC and DMA driver development.
• Debug complex system-level issues and building blocks.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in embedded Linux, Linux application, or kernel development.
• Strong C/C++ development skills with object-oriented design understanding.
• Proficiency in Yocto development.
• Hands-on experience with kernel mode driver programming.
• Experience with audio drivers, frameworks, and subsystems.
• Deep understanding of system debugging and embedded systems development.
• Domain experience in Multimedia, Power management, Display technology, or OpenGL.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the CAR Framework and automotive systems.
• Open source contributions and interaction with the Linux community.
