Description

You will own the porting, configuration, and debugging of Embedded Linux systems on x86 platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Port and configure GMSL3 drivers and utilities to meet platform specifications.
• Customize Linux kernel modules and BIOS/UEFI settings for hardware requirements.
• Develop Board Support Packages (BSP) and perform hardware initialization for Linux kernel boot.
• Conduct board bring-up, validation, and debugging on evaluation and target hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware and DevOps teams to ensure platform compatibility.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and Linux kernel development.
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernel boot flow and minimal hardware initialization.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and low-level hardware interaction.
• Experience with BSP development for x86 architectures.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up tools such as JTAG, serial console, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with storage devices (eMMC, NVMe, SATA, SD) and root filesystem setup.
• Ability to debug embedded systems using hardware diagnostics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PaaS and DevOps integration for platform reliability.
