Description

You will develop embedded software and manage low-level Linux development for custom hardware platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in Linux and U-Boot for custom hardware.
• Perform board bring-up for new hardware prototypes.
• Design and implement Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
• Configure Linux kernel, RootFS, device trees, and systems.
• Manage builds using Yocto and GitLab.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded Linux development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Go, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and debugging.
• Expertise in hardware peripheral interfacing and bus protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, PCIe, NVMe, NOR Flash, DDR, EEPROM, GPIO, USB).
• Ability to write Linux kernel modules and drivers.
• Familiarity with Yocto build systems and Git-based workflows.
• Solid understanding of multi-threading and inter-process communication (IPC).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ARM-based SoCs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, REST, and gRPC APIs.
• Aerospace or safety-critical development experience.
