Description

You will design, develop, and optimize embedded systems and firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware and embedded software for various microcontroller architectures.
• Develop low-level drivers, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
• Optimize embedded software for performance, power efficiency, and memory usage.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure sensor integration.
• Maintain firmware documentation and manage version control using Git.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in embedded system design and firmware development.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Hands-on experience with microcontroller architectures including ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR, or MSP430.
• Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
• Understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, CAN, USB, etc.).
• Experience debugging using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with hardware interfacing and power management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or shell scripting for automation and testing.
• Exposure to wireless communication standards such as BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, or NB-IoT.
