Description

You will own the quality assurance process for embedded firmware, ensuring functionality and security through manual and automated testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated analysis of C firmware source code to identify errors and security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and automate unit and system test scripts to verify module and overall functionality.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing on firmware builds using lab equipment.
• Identify security risks, document findings in detailed reports, and collaborate with development teams to verify corrective actions.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience as a QA engineer or software tester with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in C and Python for firmware analysis and test automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for problem-solving and clear documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certification in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE).
• Experience with AWS or Azure testing environments.
