Description

You will design and develop embedded software and firmware for medical devices in a regulated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and firmware using C and C++.
• Create and update technical design documentation.
• Develop, execute, and report on unit test cases to ensure code quality.
• Perform issue analysis and resolution using code analyzers.
• Modify and develop device drivers for peripherals including USB and UART.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with RTOS-based embedded software.
• Experience in the medical industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Working knowledge of Git and Jira for software configuration management.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to IEC 62304 and medical device regulatory standards.
