Description

You will develop embedded software for steering and powertrain systems, owning low-level code, protocol implementation, and complex system debugging.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level embedded C code and device drivers for automotive systems.
• Implement and test communication protocols including CAN, FlexRay, SPI, UDS, and KWP.
• Debug complex systems using analytical thinking and specialized hardware tools.
• Work within AUTOSAR and HIS standards, including ISO14229 and ISO TP layers.
• Manage requirements and change processes using industry-standard tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded C and device driver development.
• Hands-on experience with CAN, FlexRay, SPI, UDS, and KWP protocols.
• Proficiency with CANalyser, CANoe, INCA, CANape, CANDiva, CANstress, CANDELA studio, or Lauterbach.
• Experience with AUTOSAR/HIS standards and ISO14229/ISO TP layers.
• Competency in requirements management via DOORS and UML tools like Enterprise Architect or starUML.
• Experience with change management tools such as ClearQuest.
• Familiarity with code generation tools like Vector Geny or Mentor Graphics.
• Working knowledge of file formats including a2l, Make, odx, cdd, and hex/s-record.
• Scripting proficiency in CAPL, Make, and Python.

Preferred Skills

• IREB and TOGAF certifications.
