Description

You will develop and support embedded software for unmanned robotic vehicles across the full development life cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for embedded applications, including vehicle control, programmable actuators, and perception sensors.
• Diagnose and correct reported software defects and support fielded systems.
• Participate in systems engineering to ensure smooth software integration.
• Perform continuous refactoring and adhere to design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Execute testing via unit testing, integration testing, and system simulation.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in embedded software engineering.
• Proficiency in C and C++ code.
• Experience with device drivers for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including TCP, UDP, CAN, SPI, and RS232.
• Experience with sensor interfacing for GPS, LIDAR, RADAR, and ultra-sonics.
• Familiarity with large multithreaded embedded applications running on an RTOS.
• Experience with distributed version control systems and Agile processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree.
• Experience with Robotic Operating System (ROS/ROS2).
• Experience with unmanned vehicle systems.
