Description

You will design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Comcast gateway products on the RDKB platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RDKB features, bug fixes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop new Wi-Fi features and coordinate with offshore team members.
• Present weekly status reports to stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance to other teams for customer Wi-Fi issue troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming.
• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and working within a Linux environment.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP internals and protocols like DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Proficiency with source version control tools, specifically Git and GitHub.
• Experience integrating Wi-Fi chipset solutions with vendors.
