Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for Wi-Fi gateway and extender products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RDKB features, bug fixes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and test Wi-Fi software features adhering to IEEE802.11 protocol standards.
• Integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions by coordinating with vendors.
• Provide technical assistance to other teams for customer Wi-Fi issue resolution.
• Report weekly status updates to stakeholders and coordinate with offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Expert proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and Linux environments.
• Deep understanding of IEEE802.11 protocol design (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP internals, DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Hands-on experience with the Rdkb Platform.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
• Any Graduate education.
