Description

Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Comcast gateways and extenders on the RDKB platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RDKB features, bug fixes, and troubleshooting for Wi-Fi solutions.
• Work with vendors to integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions.
• Troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues and provide technical assistance to other teams.
• Coordinate with offshore team members and present weekly status reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of embedded software development using C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and hands-on experience in a Linux environment.
• Understanding of IEEE802.11 protocols (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and network protocols including DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with source version control tools like Git and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
