Description

You will design, develop, and integrate software components for broadband gateway products, implementing features like parental controls, firewalls, DHCP, SNMP, and TR069/TR181. You will debug and resolve issues in embedded Linux environments, optimizing system performance and troubleshooting customer-reported defects. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure platform standards and seamless integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement network management features including firewall/iptables and IPv6 transition technologies.
• Debug and resolve issues within embedded Linux kernel and user space.
• Optimize system performance and analyze packet flow.
• Collaborate with vendors to maintain platform standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C programming; C++ is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with RDK-B, OpenWRT, or prplOS architectures.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack and networking protocols.
• Experience with embedded Linux, kernel concepts, and system debugging tools.
• Knowledge of source control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with broadband gateway technologies.
• Familiarity with SNMP and TR069/TR181 standards.
