Description

You will design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Comcast gateways and extenders on the RDKB platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new Wi-Fi features and resolve bugs on the RDKB platform.
• Integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions with external vendors.
• Troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues and provide technical assistance to other teams.
• Coordinate with offshore team members and present weekly status reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Embedded Software Development experience using C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and hands-on experience in Linux environments.
• Understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocols including WPA, RADIUS, WPS, and 802.11n/ac/ax.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP internals and network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with source version control tools like Git and GitHub.
• Ability to work effectively with offshore teams and communicate technical status clearly.
