Description

You will develop and test software features for Wi-Fi gateway and extender products.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot RDK-B Wi-Fi features.
• Integrate Wi-Fi chipset solutions by collaborating with vendors.
• Provide technical support to internal teams regarding customer Wi-Fi issues.
• Develop new Wi-Fi features on the RDK-B platform.
• Coordinate with offshore team members and present weekly status reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience using C/C++.
• In-depth knowledge of IEEE 802.11 / Wi-Fi protocols (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and development in Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP).
• Strong understanding of the RDK-B platform.
• Proficiency with source control tools, specifically Git/GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
