Description

You will develop, test, and maintain Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products on the RDKB platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and bug fixes for Wi-Fi software.
• Troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues by coordinating with internal teams.
• Manage version control using Git and GitHub.
• Present weekly status reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with offshore team members on development efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 protocol design and standards (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with the RDKB platform.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP internals, including DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with distributed or offshore engineering teams.
