Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for Wi-Fi gateway and extender products, owning the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of RDKB features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RDKB features, bug fixes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and test Wi-Fi software features adhering to IEEE802.11 protocol design.
• Coordinate development efforts with offshore team members and present weekly status reports.
• Provide technical assistance for customer Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and working within a Linux environment.
• Expert knowledge of IEEE802.11/Wi-Fi protocols (WPA, RADIUS, WPS, 802.11n/ac/ax).
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP internals, including DHCP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience integrating Wi-Fi chipset solutions with vendors.
• Proficiency with version control tools, specifically Git and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to provide technical assistance for customer Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
