Description

You will develop software services and middleware for the SYNC infotainment system.

Responsibilities

• Develop C/C++ middleware and application software to support navigation, media, phone, voice, and vehicle interfaces.
• Implement graphical user interfaces using QML and Qt Quick Design.
• Integrate and test APIs and SDKs for media, speech-recognition, mobile connectivity, and CAN network communication.
• Lead the integration, build, and release of firmware images for the SYNC platform.
• Perform root cause analysis of software defects and optimize boot-up performance and system responsiveness.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of C/C++ software development experience in the automotive or infotainment industry.
• 5+ years of experience developing software on QNX OS-based platforms.
• 5-7 years of experience with Qt and QML.
• Experience with communication protocols including CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience integrating APIs/SDKs for media, phone, navigation, and speech-recognition.
• Proficiency with revision control tools such as Git or Subversion.
• Working knowledge of infotainment technologies like navigation, voice recognition, or media.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of IP network stacks and application layer protocols including HTTP and MQTT.
• Experience with automotive quality processes such as A-SPICE, CMMI, or FMMEA.
