Description

Design and develop embedded software solutions for automotive aftermarket products, owning the firmware lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, clean code adhering to MISRA guidelines for microcontrollers and ARM-based architectures.
• Implement device drivers, low-level software, and communication protocols including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Optimize performance and resource utilization using RTOS concepts like task scheduling and memory management.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software and hardware integration.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to resolve defects using appropriate tools and test equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an embedded software engineer, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers such as STM, Renesas, NXP, or Microchip.
• Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Experience with I/O peripherals: ADC, PWM, TIMERS, RTC, EEPROM, and FLASH.
• Proficiency with SDLCT tools: Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of car features and technology such as ECUs, Gateways, and Telematics.
