Description

You will lead engineering teams supporting Flight Software and Ground Support Equipment Software.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire software development efforts, including planning and organizing technical activities.
• Serve as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) to present cost, schedule, and technical risks to senior management.
• Perform integration and development of hardware systems.
• Lead risk, opportunity, and issue management for complex hardware and software subsystems.
• Integrate electronics into a system of systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related engineering experience, or a Master’s with 10 years, or a PhD with 6 years.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or projects.
• Direct experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and EVMS duties.
• Experience managing risks, opportunities, and issues in complex subsystems.
• Experience integrating electronics into a system of systems.
• System Architecture expertise.
• SAP proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flight Software.
• Extensive experience with software and system architecture.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Experience resolving complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
