Description

You will lead engineering teams supporting Flight Software and Ground Support Equipment Software, managing full development lifecycles and system integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire software development efforts, including planning and organizing technical activities.
• Serve as Cost Account Manager (CAM) to present cost, schedule, and technical risks to senior management.
• Lead risk, opportunity, and issue management for complex hardware and software subsystems.
• Perform integration and development of hardware systems and integrate electronics into a system of systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related engineering experience (or Master’s with 10 years, or PhD with 6 years).
• Proven experience leading engineering teams or projects.
• Direct experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) duties.
• Experience managing risks, opportunities, and issues in complex subsystems.
• System Architecture expertise.
• SAP proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flight Software and extensive software/system architecture work.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Experience resolving complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
