Description

Design and develop embedded software for device-to-cloud connectivity modules, ensuring robust real-time performance and secure communication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C software on RTOS platforms (QNX, VxWorks, Embedded Linux) for telemetry and command/control flows.
• Implement and maintain MQTT-based communication for device-to-cloud connectivity.
• Integrate and optimize networking stacks, including TCP/IP, sockets, and secure protocols.
• Debug system-level issues involving connectivity drops, latency, and data inconsistencies across device and cloud layers.
• Collaborate with cloud, firmware, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and maintain compliance documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development using C.
• Strong expertise in embedded networking (TCP/IP, sockets, protocols).
• Hands-on experience with MQTT or similar messaging protocols.
• Proficiency with RTOS environments such as QNX, VxWorks, or Embedded Linux.
• Solid debugging skills for system-level interactions between devices and network backends.
• Ability to ensure robustness and fault tolerance in real-time environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical devices or regulated domains (IEC 62304).
• Familiarity with secure communication (TLS, certificates) and cellular/Wi-Fi router integration.
