Description

You will develop and implement embedded software sub-systems based on design specifications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement software sub-systems following Ford software specifications and design requirements.
• Develop unit, functional, and interface level test procedures.
• Execute functional, bench, or system-level testing to ensure software quality.
• Review technical work products and peer code to maintain standards.
• Apply SDLC and STLC methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in C and C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++ IDEs and various compilers.
• At least 1 year of dedicated unit testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive C/C++ coding standards.
• Practical understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ford software specification implementation.
