Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for electrically connected products.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test low-level drivers to interface with hardware components, sensors, and peripherals.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols including Ethernet, Modbus, or wireless technologies.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues using JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Optimize code and algorithms for memory efficiency, processing speed, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, QA, and architects within an Agile environment to integrate systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware or software development.
• Proficiency in Embedded C and C++.
• Experience with Linux-based development and Linux OS.
• Hands-on experience with 8-bit and 16-bit microcontrollers and peripheral interfacing.
• Strong understanding of IPC and multi-threading concepts.
• Knowledge of system management and industrial protocols such as SNMP, Redfish, BacNet, ProfiNet, or EtherNet/IP.
• Experience using Git/Subversion, Jira, and static analysis tools.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rust.
• Knowledge of HTTPS, JavaScript, SMTP, or Modbus/TCP.
