Description

You will own embedded software development for Linux-based systems, focusing on driver and kernel development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux drivers and kernel modules.
• Implement driver functionality for Graphics, Multimedia, Power Management, or Audio.
• Integrate and troubleshoot system components using IPC and DMA drivers.
• Debug the Linux kernel and associated device drivers.
• Contribute to system integration and stability.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in embedded Linux driver or kernel development.
• Strong C development skills.
• Proficiency in driver development for at least one domain: DRM/KMS (Graphics), Vaapi/v4l2 (Multimedia), or Audio subsystems (ALSA, I2S/TDM).
• Experience with Yocto development and Linux Kernel Driver programming.
• Working experience with IPC and DMA driver development in Linux.
• Strong system knowledge and debugging capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Xen or KVM.
• Familiarity with Android HAL, OpenMAX, or Codec2.
