Description

You will develop and maintain embedded software for Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug Linux kernel modules and device drivers.
• Perform board bring-ups, kernel compilation, and U-Boot configuration.
• Develop multithreaded and multi-process applications for embedded systems.
• Debug system-level issues using tools like JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, and oscilloscopes.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Software Development with solid C programming skills.
• Strong expertise in Linux kernel development and device drivers.
• In-depth knowledge of OS fundamentals, multithreaded and multi-process applications.
• Hands-on experience with Linux build systems like Yocto, Buildroot, and kernel compilation.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, and oscilloscopes.
• Experience in debugging kernel software stability, crash analysis, and system lock troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of software development tools like Git, CVS, Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, and SourceTree.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and understand schematics, datasheets, and technical manuals.
