Description

You will design and implement embedded software solutions for complex systems, focusing on reliability and real-time performance. You will own the development lifecycle from requirements analysis to debugging and release.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded applications in C/C++ for Linux or RTOS environments.
• Design and implement communication protocols including CAN, RS232, RS422, RS485, SPI, and I2C.
• Create UI/UX simulator tools using VB.NET or VC#.
• Debug multi-threaded applications and hardware interfaces using logic analyzers, scopes, JTAG, and CANalyzer.
• Manage source code and defects using Git, Subversion, JIRA, and Bugzilla.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ development.
• Experience with Embedded Linux or RTOS (VxWorks, ThreadX, Green Hills).
• Hands-on experience with hardware communication protocols and drivers (Timers, EEPROM, Flash).
• Proficiency in VB.NET or VC# for tool development.
• BS or BA in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s with 5+ years accepted).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Subversion) and Atlassian tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ColdFire and ARM 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Understanding of cyber security principles in embedded systems.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and electrical diagrams.
