Description

Design, develop, and test embedded software systems in low-level, high-performance environments. You will own the full development lifecycle, from writing multithreaded applications to creating technical documentation including requirements, design specs, API definitions, and user guides.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain API interfaces and low-level drivers for x86, RTOS, or standalone platforms.
• Debug at the device or board level using JTAG to resolve complex system issues.
• Implement and maintain bootloaders (U-Boot) and hardware interfaces.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for requirements, designs, and APIs.
• Ensure robust testing and validation of embedded systems.

Required Skills

• Strong programming expertise in Embedded C and C++ (C++-only profiles will not be considered).
• 7+ years of experience in embedded systems and driver development.
• Hands-on experience with PCIe, Ethernet, and USB protocols.
• Proficiency in multithreaded programming on Linux and RTOS.
• Deep understanding of hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, GPIO, DDR/SDRAM, and DMA.
• Ability to work on low-level drivers and bootloaders.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• FPGA software programming.
• Scripting experience with Python, Perl, or TCL.
