Description

You will design and implement embedded real-time software systems for complex hardware platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop multithreaded embedded applications using C/C++ on RTOS environments.
• Integrate and interface with electrical and mechanical systems, including sensors and actuators.
• Implement device drivers and communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, CAN, SPI, and RS232.
• Collaborate within an open team environment to deliver robust software solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience designing embedded real-time software.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded processors.
• Experience with large multithreaded applications running on an RTOS.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical system integration.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile software development concepts and processes.
• Knowledge of Unmanned Vehicle Systems, ROS/ROS2, and sensor interfacing (GPS, LIDAR, RADAR, ultra-sonics).
