You will develop embedded software solutions for precision motion control, sensor integration, and mathematical algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software spanning motion control, sensor integration, and mathematical algorithms.
• Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and industry standard adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine vision and machine learning into embedded systems.
• Mentor junior staff members and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with working experience in C#.
• Expertise in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontroller units (MCUs).
• Demonstrated expertise in ARM architecture and platforms.
• Experience customizing Linux operating systems for ARM platforms.
• Expert debugging skills using In-Circuit Emulators, Debuggers, Oscilloscopes, and electrical schematics.
• Experience with interrupt service routines and external peripherals via I2C, SPI, etc.
• Expertise in robotics, motion control, multi-threading, network communication, and instrumentation.
• Fluency in UML for Object-Oriented Analysis/Design, including state machines.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as EtherCAT and Modbus TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine vision or machine learning algorithms.
• Previous experience in the semiconductor or semiconductor equipment industry.
