Description

You will design and develop Android-based infotainment solutions for automotive consumer devices.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire software lifecycle for assigned domains, including requirements, system design, development, and maintenance.
• Develop new features and maintain existing functionality through bug fixes and system optimizations.
• Participate in architecture, feature requirement definition, design, code, and test case reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to resolve system issues and triage bugs.
• Document all software development processes and design decisions clearly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or C.
• Experience with Android frameworks, including services, JNI, native services, and HAL.
• Strong background in object-oriented software design and implementation.
• Experience with Android local unit tests and instrumented tests.
• Familiarity with SCM and development tools including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and JIRA.
• Ability to work within an Agile development process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vehicle infotainment, telematics, or navigation systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, or SPI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell.
