Description

You will develop low-level embedded software components and manage hardware peripheral interfaces for microcontroller-based systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop low-level C components including microcode, RTOS, DSP algorithms, and PHY/MAC firmware.
  • Build Board Support Packages (BSPs), drivers, and kernels to manage hardware peripherals like I2C and PCIe.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to define firmware and software interfaces.
  • Coordinate firmware releases by executing and reporting on validation tests.
  • Track defects, document root causes, and perform code reviews to maintain code hygiene.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in C language for systems or firmware development.
  • 4+ years of experience with Cortex-M or similar architecture microcontroller-based system design.
  • Direct experience developing firmware using wireless communications (Bluetooth, BLE, 802.15.4, Sub-GHz, or 802.11).
  • Experience writing and maintaining integrated on-chip peripheral device drivers.
  • Proficiency using UART, SPI, and I2C to interface with sensors, memory, ADCs, or DACs.
  • Ability to use sniffers and logic analyzers to verify embedded software at the system level.
  • Experience with C build systems, debuggers, and profiling tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience creating new BLE GATT services and optimizing BLE performance.
  • Use of Infineon PSoC Creator, Modus Toolbox, or PSoC6x microcontrollers.
  • Experience with electromechanical transducers such as encoders, load cells, or capacitive sensors.
