Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded applications using C/C++, owning the complete Software Development Lifecycle from requirements to testing. You will collaborate with hardware teams on board and OS bring-up, device driver development, and hardware interface integration while ensuring regulatory compliance with DO-178 standards. Your work will include debugging, optimizing for performance, and implementing communication protocols across cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded applications in C/C++ throughout the SDLC.
• Execute board and OS bring-up, including device driver development and integration.
• Implement hardware interface solutions and ensure compliance with DO-178 safety and security standards.
• Debug, test, and optimize embedded software for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and verification engineers to resolve complex technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and OS bring-up.
• Experience with hardware interfaces: UART, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, TCP/IP, UDP.
• Understanding of SDLC, requirements analysis, and architecture design.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, specifically DO-178.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-functional collaboration in hardware-software integration.
• Background in safety-critical systems development.
