Description

You will develop native software for embedded Linux platforms, focusing on video software stacks and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux applications using C and C++ within multitasking and multithreading environments.
• Implement and optimize low-level video software stacks, including AV pipelines and middleware frameworks.
• Execute board bring-up, BSP development, and device driver implementation.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions while managing risks and technical constraints.
• Profile and optimize system performance across CPU, GPU, NPU, TPU, and memory.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, POSIX standards, and media frameworks.
• Experience with Set Top Box (STB) software stacks and RDK platforms.
• Hands-on experience with device drivers, boot loaders, and BSP development.
• Knowledge of SoC architectures, specifically BCM at the driver level.
• Exposure to HDMI/HDCP and certification testing.
• Experience with Yocto, Git, and Gerrit.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with common STB chipsets and SDK frameworks.
